So after a bit of technical difficulties, and only about 7 hours after the promised due date the first episode of Katy’s new project Auf’d Runway is live. After getting booted from the show in the third episode Katy always said that the part she was most disappointed about was that she would no longer get to do all of the challenges. So rather than be disappointed we decided to take matters into our own hands, and this is the result.

Middle of the afternoon and as per usual I’m plugging away on the developement of this or that website. Nothing special, in fact if I remember correctly it had been kind of a slow day in internet-land. I logged into one of the sites I’ve been working on on our development server and to my amusement I find this in the site’s logs.

Okay so the proverbial cat is finally out of it’s bag, and the news that my girlfriend Katherine (Katy) Gerdes is an up an coming fashionista isn’t really news anymore, it’s just the facts of life.

When I quite smoking a little over two months ago one of the things I did to motivate myself was to say, “Joe, if you can make it through this first month you can use the money you would have spent to buy smokes and buy yourself a new toy instead.” At first I wasn’t sure what I would get, the possibilities where endless, or at least anything with in the ~$150-200 dollar range.

I’ve done a fair little bit of work with Final Cut Pro for various classes here and there throughout my school career, today however was the first time I’ve really spent any amount of time trying to do color correction. I don’t know why it took me so long to use this feature, as it was far easier, and much more intuitive than one would expect.

So it’s Friday once again, which means Saturday and Sunday are just around the corner. Combine that with the fact that the school semester is quickly coming to a close, and it comes as no surprise that I’m planning on spending the next couple of days engrossed in my studies. So, as a began to prepare for the fun filled weekend I did a little reflection on the previous weekend of homework and school assignments.

Today is the twenty first of April. Twenty-one days since the beginning of the month, and as you would naturally expect a lot has happened in that time. On the third of April I turned 24 years old. Easter happened, as it always does, and I spent the day eating food, and talking with relatives. The end of the Spring semester continued to creep closer and closer, and as the absolute inverse of that I seemed to get busier and busier.

In fact, there are so few e-mails that get through the spam filter that are actually spam, that when one does I generally feel compelled to have a look at it, and see just what’s so different about this one. Which is how I came across this e-mail.
